Nice comments. What software was used to make this video?

Equipment is important but nothing replaces the creative expression (what one of you called the ‘eye’).
By c5bgalaxy
Lol never thought of that.
They have you exclusively by contract and tell you where to go? Just think how well you will retire too ^^

The downside of it (kind of a downside) is that you are always on the road. You dont have time to sit down and relax – you are always going places.
Its fun in the beginning but the longer you do that more tiring it becomes.

Man you are living my dream right now XD I love taking landscpae and nature photographs, but making money from it is hard lol!
By dimk05
Technically – freelance. Currently I “freelance” full time for Adobe – go around the world mostly taking landscapes.

Indeed, it is important how the person is taking the photo, the eye does matter, but what I think dimk05 was saying is that you will get better quality and more options with a more expensive camera.
The resolution is higher, photos are larger, and there’s much more that you can do with them. Without the eye, it doesn’t matter what kind of camera you use, the photos are not going to be spectacular.
But, the more expensive cameras do provide better quality. You get what you pay for kind of thing.

Please tell me how you make that much from photography ^^ Do you freelance or are you employed? What kinds of photos you take?

Bro, I think we misunderstood each other. What I mean by good pictures is quality. I do agree with you that the eye matters, and you can take great photos with point and shoot camera.
But what I was trying to say is that the quality on point and shoot is really far from perfect when compared to high-end equipment. I used to have 10 megapixel point and shoot and thought that quality is perfect on it until I started doing photo professionaly and use my Canon 5D.
Then you see a HUGE difference.

Its just that people like you, who say that the camera matters, and you need big expensive equipment, make people who cant afford that stuff feel like they cant make good images, which isnt true, i use a d300, i have strobes lenses filters, i have that equipment but that doesnt matter, someone using a point and shoot camera could make better photos than me, its the eye that matters, “bro”.
By dimk05
Bro, I already told you that I have nothing to prove to anyone especially to you.
So stop bugging me.

You seem to lack a little intelligence to understand that I DO NOT care what you think about me.
It is not that I posted a comment for you to approve or disapprove. You could have spent the time a little more wisely instead of replying to me saying what you can or cannot find in yourself.
If you can’t find something in yourself – you go to a shrink. I definitely don’t care whether you believe me or not; i make that $120,000 a year from photography and I don’t have to prove anything to anyone.

This does not show that you don’t need expensive cameras to take good pictures….YOU DO! The whole video is an advertisement for HP non-SLR cameras.
The photos that they showed you that were supposedly taken by that little HP camera were in actuality taken by Canon SLR camera. I have been a professional photographer for 19 years. And believe you will not take GREAT photos with that tiny little HP camera.
