Digital Photography for Dummies “is the first book of the” Dummies “I’ve read. This completely updated and amended at the present time, in full color.
I can not afford to understand everything about RGB, CYMK and other colorful acronyms in chapter 2, if the diagrams were in black and white, color says a lot. < br /> Digital Photography for Dummies shows you anything and everything you need to know about digital photography.
There are 16 chapters divided into 5 parts.
Covers understanding the differences between digital cameras and film cameras, as well as advantages and disadvantages of digital photography.

I am pretty computer savvy, but knew little about digital cameras and software work with photos, until I read this book. This is a very good soil and is particularly strong on the use of graphics programs. This is an extremely readable on a computer that, but in sufficient detail for use as a reference. I also found the program on the enclosed CD to be a good example of what is there.

As a beginner in digital photography, I found the book Julia to be extremely useful.
If you’re new to this area as I do, disgregard to negative reviews. She does a very good job in explaining the digital cameras, and they work. Included softward outstanding and worth the price of the book alone. I read a book from cover to cover and I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

I guess I do not think photo editing, digital photography. When I think of digital photography, I think about the art of photography, taken with a digital camera instead of film cameras. That’s all.
Photo editing, in my opinion is different.
If you are looking for a book to explain the aperture, exposure, shutter speed, F / stops, etc., this book only 41 pages on these issues.
There are 354 pages total (not counting the glossary ) and 194 of them are in the photo editing software elements.
I found myself skipping and skimming, and switch for more information.
As if I missed something, I would find myself back and reread and still lowered. I wanted a book about taking better pictures without taking OKAY photos, and fixing them later with an external program – and, perhaps, my fault, as defined in my head. I do not want a book on the elements, but I do not have this program.

I found this book to be a great guide for anyone who uses digital photography as a hobby.
It was easy to understand and then step by step instructions made one feel good about the finished product. Lie with your digital pictures for fun or for a more serious production, this book is a great help.
